Changelog:

  • Fixed a bug where the game couldnt log in if no sidequest was tracked.
  • Fixed some minor issues with the companion UI.
  • Fixed an issue where some character cusomization combos crashed the game and optimized convo images.
  • Fixed some small desync issues with paused characters.
  • Fixed up the “Bright” theme, its now flat blue which looks way better.
  • Fixed some weird pixels on all of clothes 2 options for character model 3.
  • Fixed some textbox issues and added a window for textbox names.
  • Fixed a weird text input bug.
  • Added more story quests.
  • Added Poison Jab to Swordman materia which can now be upgraded to level 2.
  • Added minor stat changes to every materia.
  • Added a new default theme, all the old ones are still optional.
  • Added the Zombie status effect.
  • Added new items and equipment.
  • Added Anti-Zombie ability.
  • Added Millionaire ability.
  • Added rarity based background colors to item icons on hover info.
  • Added new maps for Abandoned Mansion.
  • Added new enemies for the mansion area.
  • Added Protect Materia with Barrier and Magic Barrier skills.

  • Added a new companion unlockable by following the main quest.
  • Added the underground and Thieves Guild to Aurora Village.
  • Added map for the Powerstation.
  • Added a new character to the character creator.
  • Added new armor, Ancient Aurora Armor.
  • Changed the description of some healing items.
  • Changed the way characters are drawn in conversations to not cover half the screen.
  • Changed the way item drops work with multipliers.
  • Changed how items are handled internally from using string names to IDs.
  • Changed the way status effects are displayed.
  • Changed rarity colors.
  • Changed main UI buttons, its now a menu that can be shown or hidden.
  • Changed the EXP formula, and re-balanced all the enemies to drop more EXP.
  • EXP now carries over on level ups, making it possible to level several times per battle.
  • Combined the HP Ring and the MP Ring into a single ring (Ancient Aurora Ring).
  • Ancient Aurora equipment is now gained randomly from boxes found in the dungeon.
  • You can now resurrect in the middle of battle with a phoenix down, no need to restart.
  • Small adjustment to AP required text in the materia upgrade window.
  • Skill info now shows more accurate power based on your stats instead of just base power.
  • Quest rewards have been changed a bit.
  • Nerfed the first boss MATK and DEF/MDEF.
  • Nerfed magic weakness from 2x damage to 1.5x damage.
  • Nerfed and changed up Dulix a little bit. (Still an annoying hard fight)
  • Made the chatbox hidable with TAB, press it again to bring it back.
  • Made some small changes to the story dialogue.
  • Made changes to the event system and puppets to improve cutscene functions.
  • Made a new WIP title screen.
  • Reverted back to the old turn based battle system, but with a few changes.
  • An insane amount of changes to enemies, companions, skills and items for the battle change.
